One Agriculture-One Science: A Global Education Consortium was formed with the aim to boost agriculture education to help address challenges of global food security, accessibility and affordability. The consortium aims at creating more hunger fighters by encouraging and bringing youth into agriculture and to reach out to millions of farmers to embrace new technology to progress into a dynamic sector. There were approximately 70 attendees. The purpose of the meeting was to allow founding members and new consortium members to agree on operational issues of the consortium and define areas of action that address emerging challenges and exploit opportunities for onsite as well as technology mediated agricultural education and extension.
