NMSU Faculty’s Visit

Chris CramerDr. Chis Cramer, Professor in the Department of Agronomy and Horticulture, New Mexico State University, visited the department on June 25th. His research focus is in the area of Breeding, Genetics, Onions, Quantitative Genetics, Crop Production. Current projects include breeding program to develop onion cultivars for growers in New Mexico – to develop high yielding, high quality, disease resistant, and bolting resistant cultivars for New Mexico. Dr. Cramer has collaborative projects with WSU plant pathology faculty in identifying sources of resistance and developing disease resistant onion cultivars.
