Amiri Participates in International Conferences

Dr. Achour Amiri traveled to Belgium to present his research on “Fungicide application methods postharvest” at the International Conference of Crop Protection in Ghent on May 23, where he gathered with 200 other researchers.Amiri SA 2017 sm

On May 31, Dr. Amiri also attended the IV International Symposium on Postharvest Pathology in Skukuza, South Africa, where he presented research on “Prevalence, distribution and fungicide sensitivity profiles of Penicillium and Botrytis cinerea in Washington.”  Amiri met with Postharvest Pathologist from all over the world including USA, Belgium, South Africa, New Zealand, Italy, and Spain.  He visited avocado and citrus packinghouses, the Citrus Research International center, and of course, had the chance to explore the Kruger National Park and see amazing wildlife
